Broadband: State-of-the-art fiber optic telecommunications capability is provided by Windomnet (Windom Telecommunications: http://www.windomnet.com). This fiber to the premise system can deliver 100 megabits per second of high speed digital information for businesses.
 

Transportation

Railroads: Windom is served on a daily basis by the Union Pacific Railroad.
Highways: Intersection of US Highway 71 and MN State Highway 60; located Eighteen miles from Interstate 90.
Air Service: Windom Municipal Airport is approximately 1½ miles from the North Windom Industrial Park. The airport provides a 75’ X 3,600’ asphalt runway, Unicom radio system and AWOS, Reils/Odals lighting system, arrival/departure building, and courtesy car. Commercial air service available at Sioux Falls Regional Airport (90 miles). International air service available at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (2.75 hours).
Freight/Delivery Service: Yellow Freight and other carriers.  Delivery service available from UPS, Federal Express, and other delivery services.
