Ordinance No 140, 2nd Series Unauthorized, Unlawful Burning

This form is used for notification of open burning certain limits and conditions are required.

LIMITS AND CONDITIONS

1) CALL POLICE DEPT. (831-6134) the day that you are burning. If a burn notification has not been provided and a fire call is made which results in fire trucks coming to your site, you will be charged for the fire call. 2) No burning is permitted in the streets. 3) All such fires shall be attended – at all times – by a person of suitable age and discretion. 4) Be courteous to surrounding property owners and consider smoke direction when planning your burn. 5) No burning during an air pollution alert, warning or emergency declared by the Pollution Control Agency or when a burning ban is in effect.
