The City of Windom Water/Wastewater Department is committed to providing the highest quality product to you at the most reasonable cost. The City of Windom provides drinking water to its residents from a groundwater source: eight wells ranging from 87 to 142 feet deep, that draw water from the east side of Cottonwood Lake. The well water is filtered to remove iron and magnesium and disinfected at the treatment plant so that it meets all federal, state, and local quality regulations.
