Wild Animals
The City nor the Police Department do not set live traps for unwanted or nuisance animals. The Police Department can be contacted to dispatch diseased or severely injured wild animals. The Police Department is not responsible for wild animals trapped by private citizens.

Dogs & Cats:
City Ordinance allows for three (3) dogs and/or three (3) cats per household. 93.002
Dogs and cats must be licensed and are prohibited from running at large. Dogs and cats over four months of age must be licensed. Licenses are valid for a one-year period and are available by filing out the pet license application at the City Clerk’s Office in City Hall. 93.002
Dogs and cats must have rabies vaccinations, and they must wear the vaccination tags. 93.004
Animals that habitually bark or cry are prohibited. 93.016
Pets should remain in their own yards if not on a leash. 93.008
As responsible pet owners, residents should clean up after their pets.
