The City of Windom operates many parks which are administered by the Park and Recreation Board, appointed by the Windom City Council.

The City of Windom allows the reservation of certain park facilities.  These include 2 park shelters, picnic tables, and bleachers, and the use of commercial tents within a city park with permit.  More information and reservation forms may be found here.

Help Keep our Parks Clean!

The City of Windom welcomes you and your group to participate in the Adopt-A-Park program. The main focus of this program is to help us keep our city parks clean. Your group can select an available park for adoption then sign an agreement with the City to begin participating in the program. Parks are available on a first come first served basis.

Windom Playgrounds

The City of Windom maintains playgrounds in Island ParkTegels ParkAbby Park and Jen’s Park.

SWWC School, at 6th Ave. and 16th St., and Highland School, 10th St. and Drake, have a variety of equipment for all ages and one paved basketball court each. Winfair also has two tornado slides and a ball field.

The fairgrounds parking area, bordering the school property to the west, provides a large grassy area for other activities.
